FAQ

What paper are the prints made on?

Hahnemühle German Etching, 310gsm – a heavyweight, museum-grade, acid-free and lignin-free art paper with a soft velvety surface. More on the Printing & Materials page.

What is a giclée print?

A high-resolution fine-art print that lays archival pigment onto art paper with great precision, faithfully reproducing an original painting.

Are the prints made from real paintings?

Yes. Every print comes from an original watercolour by Léna Ruisz. No AI is ever used on the artwork.

What sizes are available?

It depends on the work. Sizes and prices are shown on each product page. Inch sizes are shown to customers in the US; A-sizes to customers in Europe; the square works are shown to everyone.

Do prints come framed?

No – prints are sold unframed so you can choose a frame that suits your wall. Frames and props in the photos are only there to show scale. Each print has a clean white border, so you can frame it with or without a mount.

How should I frame and care for my print?

Frame behind glass or acrylic, away from direct sunlight and damp. Handle by the edges. The paper is made to last for generations when looked after.

Where do you ship, and what does it cost?

Worldwide, free. See Shipping & Delivery for times and customs.

How long will my order take?

Each print is made to order, so there is a short production step before dispatch. Current estimates are on the Shipping & Delivery page.

Can I return a print?

Yes. Damaged or faulty prints are replaced or refunded free. EU customers also have a 14-day right of withdrawal. See Returns & Exchanges.

What is the Incipit 2026 collection?

Incipit 2026 is the first Wildcabinet collection – eighteen works across four bodies of work. It is the beginning of an ongoing practice.
