Meet Léna

I'm a violinist. I live in sound – and when I paint, I go quiet. Everything I have to say comes out slowly, through the brush, and the silence fills with colour.

Every painting here is one of mine. Painted by hand, kept dense and saturated, with quiet pathways hidden inside for whoever looks closely enough to find them. Made to be lived with, and to be returned to.

LOOK CLOSER

Go closer. There is a world in here most people walk straight past — every pigment flicker, every point, painted smaller than a fingernail.

SEE ALL THE DETAILS

The paper

Hahnemühle German Etching, 310gsm. A heavyweight, mould-made paper from a German mill that has made paper since 1584, with a soft, velvety surface. It is 100% alpha-cellulose, acid-free and lignin-free, and museum-grade to ISO 9706, so it lasts for generations without yellowing or growing brittle.

The inks

Archival pigment inks, chosen for depth and longevity. Unlike dye inks, the pigment sits stable on the paper and resists fading far longer. It holds the dense, saturated colour these paintings depend on, because in this work the colour is the subject, not the tool.

What giclée means

Giclée is a high-resolution fine art printing process that lays pigment onto archival paper with great precision and tonal range. It is the standard for reproducing original art, and it is what lets the smallest detail in a painting survive intact into the print you receive.

Made to order

Each print begins with one of Léna's real watercolours, scanned at high resolution and colour-matched by hand. No AI ever touches the artwork. It is then made individually for your order, never held in stock, and shipped from the lab nearest you, with free worldwide delivery.
