A small night narrative in watercolour and ink, released as an archival fine art print.

Teardrops of every colour are scattered through the black, caught mid-fall. Each one carries a cracked, glassy surface, a craquelure that breaks like real glass over the watercolour, so they read like small jewels lit from within. It is the same surface that runs through Invictus, the technique I keep for the things that are hard and beautiful at once. Every drop is painted on an original just 6 by 10 centimetres.

What the painting found is movement. The drops are always falling, and they never stop, and that is what makes them beautiful. Nothing here is frozen, nothing is stuck. It stays continuous. It goes on.

It has a twin. Flow is this same image with the dark removed, the drops let into the light. This is the half that keeps its night.
